Ministero della Grafica

The Ministero della Grafica is putting together a book containing a collection of quotes about design and creativity:words and ideas that make us think, that ignite ideas and better design, that make us laugh, that inspire us.

What The book “Creative Notes” will be both a collection of sentences and a typeface specimen directory: every page will be composed and the sentence interpreted using a different font.

How We are asking the best contemporary type designers to join in the project,by creating a spread, using their recent and more interesting typefaces.We will provide one or more sentences to be composed, the book template and rules. Two different ways of partecipation are possible: - the designer will design itself the pages according to the template and send us a vectorialized file.- the designer will send us the typeface and we will use it to design the pages. (no other use will be done)  

Timing Please give us an answer about partecipating by the 10th of september.We’ll give you the sentence and the template the 12th of september.We should received the finished design by the 28 of september.  

Fee.No fee is required and no compensation will be given.We will send a complimentary copy of the book as soon as it is printed.
